Catching up with some photos!
Here are some pics from all the fun we have been having. We have had some wonderful weather which has allowed for A LOT of outdoor fun. We caved in and purchased a moon bounce for the backyard. Well actually.... I caved in. My interest in buying a moon bounce was met with Brandon saying "well, if that's what YOU want to spend YOUR money on.... that's fine with me." I have also included some pics of the kids outside on Monday. Very sunny and warm!!!

Some more pics from our North Carolina Trip
Posting pics for Kris.
I just wanted to post a couple of pics in honor of my friend Kris. This wonderfully strong woman has been through so much recently. She has always showed so much love towards us and Kiah even when it was hard for her to smile. I wanted to post these pics of Kiah and her beautiful ladybug towel that Kris bought for her. She uses it everyday (unless it's in the wash!!!). She also sleeps with the bunny that Kris bought her which Kiah was holding in a previous picture when she was sitting on the couch. HUGS TO YOU ALWAYS KRIS!!!

New pictures of the kids.
The past couple of days have been hectic here. Jacob has come down with some sort of a bug which has caused him to have a fever for the last 2 days. We are going to send him to school tomorrow since the fever has broken. I think the kids are just now getting back into the swing of things since our trip to NC. Actually.... we are too! It has been rainy the past couple of days so that doesn't help much. We are looking forward to Memorial Day when we get another day off!!!

Back from North Carolina
Hello everyone! Well, we are back from North Carolina. Brandon, Jacob, Kiah and I took a quick trip down to rural North Carolina to see Brandon's grandparents. It was a great trip even with a 7 hour drive...each way!!! The kids had SO MUCH FUN running around! We just don't have big open areas with TREES here in this part of Virginia. Home builders like to tear down everything in site to build, build, build. Jake ran around all weekend playing baseball, frisbee and chasing after Brandon's parents!!! Kiah had a lot of fun too!!! Give her a plastic cup and put her in the middle of a field and she can entertain herself for HOURS!!! The highlight of the trip for Jacob was visiting the Volunteer Fire Dept across from Grandmother Lucas' house. Uncle Richard (Carol's brother-in-law) is a member of the fire dept so he had the keys to the fire house!!! Jake sat in every single fire engine!!! We had a fabulous time and can't thank Grandmother and Grandfather Lucas, Mamie Carol and Grandpa Chet as well as Aunt Sandra and Uncle Richard enough!!!
